RANGE RULES
|
|
| | |
| | |
|
LAR&RC has one of the nicest shooting ranges, not only in California,
but in the whole United States. Shade trees, green grass, 60+ covered and
paved firing points, 50 yard, 50 meter, and 100 yard target lines, running
water, enclosed and lighted stat office, and hard-working Club officers
and members who have worked for years to make it the best.
|
|
| | |
|
We have the most active bunch of competitive rifle shooters outside of military
marksmanship units. LAR&RC has been at this site for 65 years. During the
past decade, almost all of the Smallbore State Champions and Smallbore State
Team Members to the National Championships have come from this Club. We have
junior shooters, adult shooters, old shooters, new shooters, male shooters,
female shooters (like the 2001 State Champion), converted pistol shooters, fellow
high power shooters, National Champions, members of the USA Olympic Development
Team, National Record Holders, State Champions, Palma Team Members, good shooters,
beginning shooters…

A-50 targets, the same course of fire used in the Olympics.

first half of the contest restricted to iron sights, and the second half
allowing either iron or telescopic sights. Distances are 50 yds, 50
