LOCATION: Los Angeles Rifle and Revolver Club in So. El Monte, 12 Miles east of downtown Los Angeles. Take Rosemead Blvd.,
state route 19 south from I-10 or north from I-60 to Whittier Narrows Recreation Area, Athletic Area A. Range is in
between the BMX bicycle race track and the Model Airplane Flying Field. County charges $4 on weekends and holidays for park
access. Showing LARR membership card or NRA card and expressing intent of rifle range destination will waive fees. No alcohol is
allowed in the park or rifle range.

Entry is limited to 80 and closes the Sunday before the tournament. A late fee of $10.00 will be assessed. Entries not accepted without NRA membership number, NRA classification, CRPA membership number and expiration
date, and fees.

ENTRY FEE: $45 for both days, $30 for one day. Junior fees are half of the adult fee, which will be paid by
CRPA to encourage junior participation in the shooting sports. Fees include NRA registration fee and CRPA State
Championship pin. Adult entry fee will be refunded if the competitor is unable to attend the match. Make checks
payable to LAR&R.

ENTRY OPEN to NRA individual members and junior members of an NRA club. CRPA membership is mandatory for
CRPA Championship tournaments. Be sure to mark your CRPA membership number and expiration date on your SR-1 card
before sending it in. CRPA memberships will be accepted at the range the day of the match. Adult memberships are
$18, junior memberships $5.

NRA RULES Govern the tournament using rifle rule 3.2. Range Commands will be strictly enforced.
Loading before the command “LOAD”, firing before the command “Commence Firing”, and firing after the command
“Cease Firing” are grounds for disqualification.

CLASSIFICATION: NRA classifications will be used. Competitors without a current NRA Smallbore classification may use (1) a Temporary Score
Record Book for Smallbore Prone, (2) an assigned classification, or (3) will fire in the Master Class. A competitor may shoot in a higher class.
(NRA Rule 19.8).

CHALENGE FEES: $1.00 will be charged for each challenge of your own match score. $3.00 for another competitor’s match score. Fee returned
for sustained challenges. NRA Rule 16.

|
TARGETS: NRA, A-23/5, A-26, and A-25 will be used. Competitors hang their own targets. Competitors retrieve the target on the right, and
may NOT handle their own-fired targets.

All matches will be squadded. Squadding may be picked up at the STAT office on Friday October 6. Shooters will fire
from one firing point through out each day. Range will be open for practice on Friday. A nominal fee is charged for
practice targets only. Park opens at 7:00 AM and STAT office will open at 7:30 AM.

CRPA AWARDS: CRPA California Bear Trophy will be awarded to the State Champion. High Junior in the grand
aggregate will receive the title of Junior State Champion. CRPA Distinguished Program Legs will be awarded the top
10% of non-CRPA “Distinguished” competitors in the grand aggregate per CRPA regulations. The top four California
residents, and the top four California resident juniors, in the grand aggregate, who are going to the NRA National
Shooting Championships at Camp Perry, Ohio, will be on the California State Smallbore Rifle Shooting Team, and the
California State Junior Smallbore Rifle Shooting Team, under the following regulations:

CRPA TEAM: Membership on CRPA teams selected for national competition shall be determined by order of
finish in the most recent state championship aggregate for that discipline from those competitors who are both
a resident of California and a current CRPA member in good standing prior to the beginning of that competition. A
person accepting a position on a CRPA team agrees to abide by NRA and CRPA rules and any reasonable instructions
from the team captain. Failure to comply may result in forfeiture of funding and debarment from participation in
CRPA sanctioned activities for up to five (5) years. Such disciplinary action may be imposed after a hearing by
the CRPA Executive Council upon receipt of a written complaint by the chairman of the appropriate Sanctioned
Activity Committee.

CLUB AWARDS: Given in each match to the match winner, Master, Expert, Sharpshooter, and Marksman, if 5 in
the class (2nd place for 10 or more, 3rd for 15, etc.). Special classes: High Junior, High Woman, and High Senior
will receive awards in aggregate matches. Combining classes, done in accordance to NRA rules (19.8.1).
If there are 5 or more juniors, there will be a separate junior award in each match. If there are 5
or more competitors who wish to fire in a “Senior (NRA 2.2.1) Any Sight” class, that class will receive awards in
aggregate matches, and fire in their regular class in the any sight matches. This Senior Any Sight class
will not be combined with any other class in the iron sight matches. If there are less than 5 they will be posted
separately with no awards. Shooting in this Senior Any Sight Class must be marked on the SR1 card.
There will be an award ceremony after the challenge period has ended.

CLUB SHOOTS: The Club has an 800-point, 1600 point or English Prone Sunday morning match every weekend if
not an NRA registered two day match in progress. During the year the Club also has a 3-Position Regional and a
3-Position and English Match CRPA State Championship. Several times a year the Club has USA Shooting Preliminary
Try Out tournaments for 3-Position and English Match.
