LOCATION: In South El Monte, California, 12 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. Take Rosemead Blvd.-State Route
19-south from I-10 or north from I-60 to Whittier Narrows Recreation Area, Athletic Area A, entrance on west side of
Rosemead. Go west into park to the west side of the park. The range is between the BMX bicycle race track and the
model airplane flying field. The County will charge $4 on weekends and holidays for park entrance. Show your club
membership card or an NRA card and say you are going to the rifle range for a competition to get into the park area
free. No alcohol is allowed in the park or on the range.

ADVANCE ENTRY is requested to help match officials squad and set up the match. Please help the stat office workers!

|
CURRENT NRA RULES will govern using rifle rule 3.2.
|
|
|
OPEN TO: Any NRA member or junior member of a NRA-affiliated club. Be sure to indicate your NRA member number and
NRA outdoor 3-position classification.

|
ENTRY FEES include NRA registration fee of $9.00, souvenir regional pin and results bulletin. Entry fees are:

REGISTRATION: All entries must include entry fees. Entries not accepted without NRA membership number, NRA
classification, and fees. Juniors must provide birth date. Late fee is $10. Use SR-1 card or facsimile, enclose

Entry is limited to one relay of 20 shooters and closes April 1. Make checks payable to: LAR&R. |

NRA TARGETS: A-50 (six-bull targets) will be used. Bring your own target clips. Competitors will hang their own
targets and retrieve the fired target of the competitor to their right. Competitors may not handle their own-fired target.

CHALLENGE FEE of $1.00 will be charged for each challenge of own target, $3.00 of another’s target. Fee returned for
sustained challenges. See NRA rule 16 for correct procedure.

|
ALL MATCHES WILL be squadded. Squadding may be picked up at Stat Office morning of match. A competitor who fails to
place target and frame prior to 8:55AM or is not set up on line at end of first prep time will not be allowed to fire
that match.
|
|
|
| |
|
NRA 3P CLASSIFICATION will be used. Unclassified competitors may use Temporary Classification Book, assigned
classification or will fire in Master Class.
|
|
|
| |
|
NRA AWARDS of gold, silver (15+ competitors) or bronze (25+ competitors) medallions will be awarded. LAR&R will
award class awards for each class of 5 or more, second place for 10, 3rd place for 15, etc. Classes will be combined up as
per NRA procedure to get minimum of 5. High Senior, Junior and Woman if 3 or more in that category in Match 9. A competitor
may win only one award per match (the higher value award). Award ceremony after end of challenge period Sunday.

CAMP PERRY CREDIT awards of $19.00, Match 9 only, will be given to winner and top shooter of all classes except winner’s
class in match 9. See bulletin board sheet. Minimum 5 shooters in class.
|
|
|
| |
|
CLUB MEMBERSHIPS are $50.00 per year with reduced Sunday 800 match fees and free use of the range during
the week. We have a match every weekend.
