It was used on Steyr bicycles, also made in Austria. It's claimed that they are clones of the Sturmey Archer AW hub and were made between 1954 and 1972.
Remove the wheel and take off all axle nuts (including the two bearing cones which go on the axle). Then using a 34mm wrench, remove the dog ring (looks like just the side of the hub from the outside). It is left-hand threaded and turns clockwise to loosen. Be careful not to loose parts since pins (pinion and pawl) and balls (of ball-bearings) could fall out. The pawl springs ar tiny and easy to loose.
An alternative disassembly is to remove the other dog ring on the opposite side (next to the chain sprocket) instead. The one you remove has no 34 mm flat for a wrench. To do this, one has to pound with a hammer on a screwdriver which has the flat blade angled into one of the external notches of the dog ring. To loosen, pound so as to turn the dog ring counter-clockwise (right-hand thread --the opposite of the other dog ring). If you use an ordinary screwdriver, it may not work since the handle will absorb some of the shock (and you might damage the handle too), so it's best to use an all-metal screwdriver blade or the like. This dog ring has double start thread.
For Sturmey Archer AW hubs, later models have no flats for a wrench so you are forced to use the alternative disassembly method.
