Brian is producing a film titled "Divided Country, Disposable People"
about the U.S. invasion
of Korea. He is working with award winning director Mickey Grant. We
will be raising funds to
help with the completion of this very important and ground breaking
film. Some clips of this film
will be shown. Brian has been to Korea 8 times. He just finished a 60
day fast protesting the U.S.
war and occupation in Iraq. In 1987, Brian lost his legs when he was run
over by a U.S. naval
train carrying weapons headed for Central America intended to kill
innocent civilians.
Brian is the most inspirational, knowledgeable and moving speaker I have
ever heard. I highly recommend going to his web site:
www.brianwillson.com http://www.brianwillson.com/ His essays are all
well worth reading, including some on U.S. involvement in Korea. Read
his autobiography -"On Third World Legs".
Hope to see you on Sunday July 20 either at:
1:00 PM in Culver City at our house located at 3967 Shedd Terrace
or at 7:00 PM in North Hills at the United Methodist Church-15435 Rayen
Street
If you aren't able to attend this gathering but would like to help get
this film on the U. S. invasion
of Korea, "Divided Country, Disposable People" finished, here are some
of things you can do:
1. You can order a copy of an audio-cassette titled "Waging
Unconditional Peace" with Brian
telling his story and featuring ex-FBI Agent John Ryan, who lost his job
with the FBI after 22
years of service because he would not label Brian as a terrorist. This
tape was produced by
The Other Americas Radio in 1988 and is perhaps the best audio tape I
have ever heard.
2. You can also order a CD copy of a very important and profound talk
Brian gave this last
February at the Patriotic Hall called Waging Unconditional Peace.
3. You can order a copy of my video: "What I've Learned About U.S.
Foreign Policy:
The War Against The Third World" which features 10 segments, the last
being S. Brian Willson.
4. Or you can order a copy of "Addicted To War, Why The U.S. Can't Kick
Militarism"
by Joel Andreas, which Brian endorses and helped to get published.
I am asking $10 for the audiocassette tape of Brian
$10 for the CD of Brian's talk in February of 2003
$10 for the video (which is available on VHS or DVD)
$10 for the Addicted To War book
$40 for all four of these excellent educational tools.
