STARTING POINTS FOR FINANCIAL INFORMATION

The sites on this page are listed as general financial starting points. They should be especially welcome if you are new to exploring the financial sites on the Web and would like to see what is available. A special section on starting points for the "younger" investor has been included.

MARKET AVERAGES

This section has links to WWW sources of national and international Financial Market Indices such as well as commodity price information. This is a good place to go if you are interested in an overview of what the markets are doing rather than what individual issues are doing. In addition, a listing of Exchange Web Sites is included.

QUOTES

This page has links to individual prices for stocks, bonds, mutual funds. Most stock prices are delayed 15 minutes and the mutual funds are posted at the end of the business day. In addition, we have included links to Standard & Poor Index charts for varying time periods.

PERSONAL FINANCIAL INFORMATION

This section has links to sites that deal with items of financial interest in everyday life. Such things as consumer information, financial calculators, and income taxes. Sources of personal financial software are also included as well as a separate Retirement Information Section.

COMPANY BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Links to sources of background financial information on publicly held stock companies. Sites that contain links to the home pages of companies will be included in this section in addition to various public relations firms that distribute financial and press release information. This page also contains links to sources for company stock charts and technical information sources.

Links to Mutual Fund Information is included in this section. Included are some direct links to many popular funds or funds that have home pages with useful investment information. Links to mutual fund magazine pages, fund ratings and background information are provided.

Links to the home pages of selected brokerage companies are included in this section. A listing of popular discount brokers is also included as well as a section devoted to direct stock purchases on the web.

REFERENCE & MISC. INFORMATION

This section has www links for additional in-depth information such as investment terms, investment news letters, sources of financial news, and miscellaneous government sites with financial information.
