- The Mark Twain
Democratic Club was born during the
Vietnam War, The year was 1968. The La
Mirada Democratic Club endorsed the war.
J.C. and Loretta Amley did not, so they
left the LMDC and formed their own club;
The Mark Twain Democratic Club. We have
been taking on difficult issues ever
since.
