Hometown Fair Brings in New Democrats

BCDC had our annual booth at the Manhattan Beach Hometown Fair October 6-7. Members staffed the booth all weekend long and we registered over 60 new Democratic voters. What's more, the State Party pays the club up to $4 for each new

name if we turn in a minimum of 100.

Diane Strack, our tabling coordinator, set up the booth and kept it going all weekend. Here she is (top left) making Democratic buttons, which also brought in money, and setting off for home at closing time with the entire booth contents packed into her car.

Also pictured: Ranoo Shipper headed home; and (bottom), Jason Gromski, Canvassing Coordinator for the Obama campaign (adjacent to BCDC booth).
