NJ Nakamura
NJ Nakamura received her diploma in Nursing from the Los Angeles County
Medical Center School of Nursing, her Bachelor of Nursing and her Masters
of Nursing in Gerontology from the California State University at Dominguez
Hills.
She has worked in the Intensive Care Unit of the Hospital of the Good
Samaritan in Los Angeles and was Head Nurse of the Oncology Unit there.
After working in several oncology practice offices, she joined the Hematology
Oncology Medical Group of the San Fernando Valley in May, 1990. She provides,
patient care, patient education, and conducts clinical research.
NJ is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society and is an Oncology Certified
Nurse. She is also a certified Clinical Nurse Specialist. In 1993, she was
elected to the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
