Debra Kleinzweig
Debra Kelinzweig received her Bachelor in Science in Nursing from Rush
Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago in 1977. Upon graduation,
she began working in the Oncology Unit at St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago,
IL. She remained there until 1980 when she relocated to Los Angeles and
began working as a staff nurse on the Oncology Unit at Encino Hospital.
In 1987, Debra accepted a position as Assistant Clinical Nursing Supervisor
for At Home-Hi Care, a home health care agency.
In November, 1993, she joined the staff at the Heatology Oncology Medical
Group of the San Fernando Valley.
Debra is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) and is a Certified
Oncology Nurse. She is a member of the Gerontology Focus Group of the ONS.
She volunteers as a counselor for the Healing Odyssey, a weekend retreat
and support program for women cancer survivors.
Debra was selected by the ONS to be a part of its initiative for the
development and maintenance of high quality cancer care. The program carries
the acronym ATAQ for Appropriate Treatment Assures Quality.
