Barbara Hornsby
Barbara Hornsby received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from
the State University of New York at Albany. Her minor was in Psychology.
She spent two years as a Cardiac Unit Nurse at the Latter Day Saints Hospital
in Utah. After working in the fields of General Medicine and General Surgery,
Pediatrics, Obstetrics-Gynecology, and Oncology, she chose to specialize
in Oncology. She spent five years as an Oncology Nurse at Encino Hospital.
She currently works part time in the Oncology Unit at Los Robles Hospital.
She is most interested in patient education and in chemotherapy applications.
