NEWCOMERS: WE'RE GLAD YOU'RE HERE!
WE'RE NO LONGER ALONE!

We are happy to have newcomers with us.We hope that you will give I.S.A. at least six meetings.It takes awhile to find out what I.S.A. has to offer.Give yourself needed time.You and your questions are important; nothing is too silly to ask or to say. 

We are here to share our experience, strength, and hope with each other so that we may face the reality of our memories, walking through them to the other side, learning to love and nurture the hurt little child or children within us.We go at our own pace, not giving up before our miracles, so that we can be free of the horror of our childhood experiences.We can get on with our lives as the bonds of terror are healed, and we are set free.We respect our adaptable, split, or multiple personalities if we have them; we respect our hurt, strong inside people.We survived our unsafe, violent childhoods, and now we will learn how to live in safety, peace, and serenity.

The readings are vital to our solution and recovery both during and outside meetings.We read how we apply the I.S.A. way of life, one day at a time.During our meetings a topic may be chosen to discuss or we may share how we have applied the Steps and Traditions to our problems.Take what you can.Give yourself needed time.You're right on schedule.It takes awhile to understand.Remember, this is new to you. 

We do not interrupt each other and we do not cross talk or over talk.Everyone has a chance to speak or pass.  If you need to leave early, speak up and take your turn speaking.Please feel free to leave at your convenience. 

We suggest keeping in touch with your selection of group members between meetings.Screening is important.You choose who you want to give your phone number to, and who you want to call by phone.You have the right to your free will in making your own choices. 

Your loving Higher Power loves you and so do we.We wish you a giving, healing, loving meeting.It works if you work it.God could and would if sought.
