
Users can now read a large and growing collection of books distributed in a variety of formats. There are a number of formats used for ebooks. Most of them can be read using the software available with your system (PDF, html etc.). In addition there are a number of portable ebook readers available. Participating public libraries make a number of these books available through their NetLibrary collections, while a number of booksellers and publishers offer their collections for sale.
Those who cannot find the full text of the book they want online may be able to buy it from their local independent bookseller at the Website of the American Booksellers Association.
And readers mustn't overlook the possibility of borrowing a copy from Your Local Library. which can be found from this categorized list of libraries, educational institutions, and other book resources compiled by volunteers from the Los Angeles Free-Net or from this comprehensive list of California Public Libraries from the University of California, Berkeley.
If all else fails, readers can search for their book using the popular search tools Google or Teoma
