Since its Investiture, the troop has lived out the Girl Scout Law and the Girl Scout Promise through community service. The troop's volunteer activities are not restricted to Santa Monica.
- In May of 1996, 1997, and 1998 the troop had a clothing drive for two needy families in El Florido, Mexico. This project was in partnership with a Mexico workcamp
sponsored by Amor Ministries and Brentwood Presbyterian Church.
- In June of 1996 the troop served as meal hosts to over 300 Special Olympic athletes participating in the Southern California Summer Games at UCLA.
- In September of 1996 and 1997 the troop volunteered at The Big Help, sponsored by Nickelodeon, the United States Department of Education and the California State PTA. The event was at the Santa Monica Pier and promoted literacy and volunteerism among children.
- In December of 1996 the troop was the "Secret Santa" for children living at the Chernow House and donated cookies for their holiday party. The Chernow House is transitional housing for homeless families living in East Los Angeles.
- In December of 1996 and 1997 the troop spent an evening Christmas Caroling at Saint John's Hospital in Santa Monica, California. The girls gave some holiday cheer to patients on the Maternity and Cancer wards.
- In March of 1998 the troop assisted the third grade Sunday School class at Brentwood Presbyterian Church in their mission project. Together, 810 stuffed animals were donated to C.A.S.A. C.A.S.A. provides support to thousands of neglected, abused, and abandoned children, who have become dependent on the court system. Although a gently used stuffed animal may not seem like a big deal, to a sad and lonely child, it is a tremendous source of comfort.
- In November of 1999, the girls in the troop visited veteran's at the West Los Angeles Veteran's Hospital. The girls distributed handmade cards to the patients in the hospital.
- During the 2000-2001 School Year, the big news was that Brittany Roach, one of the girls in the troop, earned her Silver Award Project. The title of her project was "Collections for Children." Brittany collected gently used clothes, 500 stuffed animals, 720 blankets, 11 wheelchairs, 2 pairs of crutches, a baby crib, shoes, books, Girl Scout Cookies, and other items requested by three Polish orphanages. Northwest Airlines flew the 3,000 pounds of cargo from Los Angeles to Warsaw at no charge. Over 350 Polish orphans, ranging in ages from one month to 24 years old, benefitted from this humanitarian project.
Brittany received assistance from churches, schools, corporations, and two Angeles Girl Scout Council troops. Brentwood/Palisades Brownie Troop #441 donated two cases of disposable diapers. The Brownie elf would be proud of these girls, who attend Carlthorp School in Santa Monica. A special thanks to Santa Monica Cadette Troop #214, who donated 22 handmade baby quilts for the babies living in the Little Child Orphanage in Warsaw, Poland. Cadette Troop #214 made the baby quilts for their Silver Award Project. Brittany Roach, Troop #441, and Troop #214 were named Amazing Kids! of the Month for February 2002 by Amazing Kids!
