The eight third grade girls of Brownie Troop #852 attend either Franklin Elementary School or Carlthorp School in Santa Monica, California. It is a wonderful combination of public and private school girls. Doing good deeds is their specialty.The troop is a member of the Angeles Girl Scout Council. The troop's cheer is:

Wearing colors of brown and blue
We promise to keep the Girl Scout Law
And be the BEST troop you ever saw!


Brownie Troop #852, which is multi-cultural, had its Investiture Ceremony on May 8, 1996. On that day, the United States flag was flown over the United States Capitol building in recognition of the troop's Investiture Ceremony. The troop has received the U.S. flag and will use it in future flag ceremonies. Special thanks to the staff at the Office of the Chaplain of the U.S. Senate for arranging the flag flying for Brownie Troop #852.
