The Los Angeles Free-Net is a volunteer operated non-profit organization whose mission is to provide:

Sharing of educational resources and ideas to continually improve the education provided to our children
Building a spirit of community, which would allow each of us to share our insights, experiences, talents, and resources with those of us who could benefit from this sharing.
Provide low-cost Internet accounts.

Donations to the LA Free-Net help to pay for connection costs, system maintenance and Internet Access. Donations also make it possible to add equipment, and improved services. Your generosity allows us to provide no cost internet access to schools and sponsors free web pages for non-profit organizations. LAFN welcomes contributions to recognize a significant event, or to honor and memorialize friends and family.

Some supermarkets have a non-profit sponsorship program where you can designate a portion of your payment to go the the non-profit of your choice. By signing up to support LAFN you will help us avoid having to raise our rates to cover cost increases and enable LAFN to provide student accounts. In each of these programs, you do not need to be a LAFN user to support LAFN. You can get your relatives and friends to sign up.
