Albertson's Community Partners

All proceedes received from the Albertson's Community Partners program are used to provide free K-12 student accounts.

To sign up at Albertson's, you need to have an Albertson's Preferred Savings Card. The information you provide in the Albertson's form must match that for your Albertson's card. Your card number is found on the back of the Albertson's Preferred Savings Card. In addition, you will need the phone number you gave Albertson's when you signed up for the card.

1. First go to www.albertsons.com. You will get a screen that looks something like:
   

   Please note that Albertson's changes the specific information regularly on this screen but the basic format stays the same. Sometimes you just have to dig around to find the link to the Community Partners program. They seem to move it around on a regular basis.

2. Enter your area code in the box at the lower right of the screen and then click on the Enter Site button to the right. This will take you to the next screen:
   

3. Click on the About Albertsons button in the bottom row of buttons.
   

4. Click on the In the Community button in the top row of buttons.
   

5. Click on the Red Community Partners button at the lower right of the screen:
   

6. Click on the Login or register with your Preferred Savings Card first:
   

7. Enter your card number and phone number (both of those shown here are examples, not real numbers). Then click on the Login button:
   

8. Click on the Find a Partner button:
   

9. Enter "free-net" in the Name field and click on the Find Partners button:
   

10. You will get the screen showing the LA Free-Net entry. Note, that it uses some unusual capitalization, but that is LAFN. Click on the Add Selected Partners button:
    

11. Here you will see all of the various partners you are donating to listed. LAFN will also be in this list. You can allocate your donation between multiple partners. Fill in the contribution percentages such that it adds up to 100%. After you make a change and move to another field, the total field will be updated. Make sure its 100% or the changes will not take place. When you have the contributions set the way you want, click on the Update Now button.

12. You will be basically back at the same screen again but now the changes have taken place. You can now log out of the Albertson's Community Partners program.Thank you for taking the time to assist LAFN in providing free K-12 student accounts.
